Latics start away at Newcastle

Aidy Boothroyd brings his newly promoted Watford side to the JJB Stadium for Wigans second home game, meaning the Latics face two promoted Championship sides in their first two home games.

Wigan will play Bolton first away from home on Saturday November 4th, with the return fixture being played on Saturday April 7th.

The Latics Christmas period is a mixed bag, but a deffinate improvement on last seasons. Liverpool at home on Saturday 2nd December kick things off, with Wigan having to face Chelsea at home followed by Manchester United either side of Christmas day.

Games against Sheffield United at home, and trips to West Ham, Watford and Middlesbrough completes Wigans Christmas period.

Wigan will travel to Arsenals new Emirates stadium on Saturday 10th February, whilst Manchester United visit the JJB Stadium on Saturday 14th October.

The season ends with West Ham and Middlesbrough bringing the home fixtures to a close, with Wigan finishing the season away from home for a second Succesive season, at Sheffield United.
