The store will be located in the West Stand, between the main reception and the ticket office.
Paul Hunt, commercial director at the club said: "These are really exciting developments for us.
"It has been a long-standing ambition of the club to have a state-of-the-art retail facility at the stadium, where supporters can choose from an extensive range of bespoke Wigan Athletic merchandise.
"And we are delighted to be able to offer a revitalised online and mail order facility.
"Football has become a global business, with many of our supporters living away from the area or abroad, and this means we can extend our retail facilities to all of our supporters, wherever they live."
