The Duke celebrates his goal last night

Wonder goals from Gary Teale and Nathan Ellington cancelled out McSheffrey's penalty after the same player dove to win the kick.

Teale put the Latics ahead early on after Jason Roberts' knock down. He rifled the ball in off the post from 20 yards out.

McSheffrey then fell under a lightweight challenge from Breckin before converting the kick. From the television replays it looked like the Coventry man made the most of it.

However the Latics got the three points they deserved as Ellington hammered a superb volley from 20 yards right into the top corner. A real contender for goal of the season.
