Heidar Helguson: Fulham Bound
Helguson is the latest in a line of players to turn the Latics down. The list now includes Jason Jarrett, Scott Parker, and Tommy Miller.

The Icelandic international would have been a welcome addition to Paul Jewell's squad but it seems he has been offered a better deal at Fulham.

"I enjoyed my time at Watford as I made many good friends there over the years," he told Fulham's official website.

"But when the opportunity came along to return to the Premiership with Fulham it was simply something that I could not turn down.

"I am happy to join the club and am looking forward to working with the management team and hopefully to securing my place in the starting line-up."

Helguson scored 64 times in 199 games for the Hornets following his £1.5million move from Lillestrom in January 2000 and Coleman is looking forward to seeing him in action for the Cottagers.

The Fulham boss said: "I know that Heidar has a great goalscoring record and has proven that he can play at the highest level internationally and I am looking forward to working with him."
