Hunt, 20, is a transfer target for a number of clubs, and impressed Jewell when Wigan won 2-1 at Griffin Park.

The young Irishman is out of contract at the end of the
season and has been stalling on signing a new contract for Brentford. He is also hopeful of going to the World Cup with Ireland U21's.

However, Hunt is said to be in no hurry to make a decision on a contract, and is happy at Griffin Park.

The other club who have expressed an interest are Port Vale.

Hunt only signed for the Bees last August and since then he has been sent off once, recieved four yellow cards and scored four goals, including the strike against Cardiff yesterday evening.
