Kilbane out for six weeks

The WIGANER.net player of the season last season is now set for a period of upto six weeks on the sidelines and will undergo an operation on the injury first thing tomorrow morning.

Latics boss Steve Bruce said: "Killer has a depression on his cheek and you don`t need to be a doctor to know its fractured. He will have an operation tomorrow and if all goes well he will be back in around 6 weeks."
