Kerr :: Back Trouble

Kerr 27, joined from Scottish side Celtic and failed to establish himself as the number one. He made just eight appearences for the Latics, the last being at Bournemouth last October.

Now he has been forced to call it quits after failing to overcome the back complaint that has dogged his time at the JJB Stadium.

Kerr commented: "I am absolutely devastated, but it is something I have feared for a while now."
