Kapo set to complete Boulogne loan switch

The 29 year old forward player has been unhappy at the Latics for some time now and has found first team opportunities difficult to come by.

The move to Boulogne is a real life line for the Frenchman who needs first team football to get his career back on track.

After discussing personal terms on an initial loan move to the end of the season, Kapo said: "It should be decided by Thursday. I will be in Boulogne to conclude everything, Thursday will be the D-Day for me.

"I need football time, I am not getting it here so it is time to move on. I still have 18 months on my contract here but that is life when you are not in the plans of a manager.

"But injuries did not help me as well, so it is not the fault of anyone, c'est la vie."

Should both parties be happy with the arrangement, and Boulogne retain their Ligue 1 status then Kapo will make the move permanent in the summer.
