Julius close to Wigan Switch

Strong reports claim the Shakhtar strikr will complete his move to the North West early next week, making him available hopefull for Tuesday's league clash with Reading at the Majewski Stadium.

If successful, Julius would become Jewell's fifth signing of the January sales, and would be the second striker to be signed, after Chesterfield forward Caleb Folan signed last week.

If Jewell signs Julius, it would also end his interest in former striker Nathan Ellington, who's club West Brom continue to mess around with the price.
