The Joseph's Goal charity match has been rearranged to Friday 22nd May.

The game will still be played at Ashton Town's Edge Green Street, just off Golborne Road. Remaining tickets for the charity fundraiser are still priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Tickets can be purchased from the DW Stadium ticket office or by calling 0871 6633552.

However, the original match scheduled for Friday 8th May was set to be between Latics Legends and the Wigan Athletic Development Squad.

But due to holiday commitments the Development Squad have been replaced by the cast of Channel 4's Hollyoaks.

The Legends team will still consist of players such as Roberto Martinez, Emmerson Boyce, Nathan Ellington, Mike Pollitt, Neill Rimmer and many more.

The All Gone Latics fanzine will also be on sale at the match, doubling up as a match programme. It is priced at £2 and like all profits at the event, the money will be donated to Joseph's goal.

If you bought a ticket for the original game, they are still valid for entry at the rescheduled event. Kick off is 7:30pm.

Over 1,000 tickets have already been sold with the record attendance of 1,400 at the ground well on the way to being broken.
