Johansson to Leave

The midfielder is now available on a free transfer, afet an unsucsesful two and a half years with Wigan. In that time, Johansson has made few appearances, although managed a decent goals per game ratio.

His biggest impression was the equaliser against heated rivals Bolton at the Reebok stadium, which is one way to impress Wigan fans!

Last season he made just a handful of appearances, and with competition in midfield and attack expected to be fierce, Wigan manager Chris Hutchings has decided to allow Johansson to leave.

Whilst his former team-mates jetted off for their summer training camp, Johansson was in Scandinavia, with a host of clubs, including his former club Djungardens, interested in his signature.

Good luck to Johansson in the future.
