Paul Jewell: Hoping for a reaction
There have been debates as to whether the former Bradford boss has lost the dressing room, but Jewell strongly denied that is the case, and is optimistic heading into the final games of the season.

Jewell is quoted in the Observer: "If that was the case then I would be struggling. But I don't believe that is the case. I just believe the players have lost their confidence.

"I don't think any player worries as much as any manager about results. You have sleepless nights all season. But one win might possibly be enough. Amazingly it's still in our own hands and that's what we've been drumming into the players.

"Now I'm looking for a response. We've worked hard to get here. I don't want to go back into the Championship - I want to stay in the Premiership. This season is so vital. If we can stay in this division, with the extra money, we can look higher and attract better players."

After losing four of the last six, now is the time to show some character and get a result. A win against Middlesbrough this weekend would go a long way to ensuring survival.
