Jewell rules ot McLeod move

Jewell said: "I can put some of the stories of who we are meant to be buying to bed. "You can forget McLeod. I went to watch MK Dons when they played Farsley Celtic in the FA Cup as Farsley are one of the teams local to me, and their manager is an old mate of mine. But all of a sudden I'm linked with McLeod.
The Latics have also been linked with Scots Garry O'Conner, Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson. A stronger link has been made about a move for Celtic midfielder-cum-striker Shaun Maloney.
Jewell added: "O'Connor I have never seen play, Brown and Thomson have played in games we've watched and while Maloney is a good player, so is Henri Camara."
Expect a move for Maloney in the near future then.
