Wigan Athletic have confirmed that versatile defender James Perch has left the club to join Queens Park Rangers.
The 29-year old has put pen-to-paper on a three-year contract at Loftus Road, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Perch made 42 appearances for Latics during the previous campaign, in which Wigan were relegated from the Championship to League One.
He now makes the return to the Championship after spending two years at the DW Stadium since his move from Newcastle United back in 2013.
