Jackson impressed by scousers

He said: "They started quite quickly and they moved the ball around to fast you just have to match them. We couldn't really do that and by the time we were 2-0 down it was pretty much game over.

"We were playing against world class players and you have to try and stop them and we didn't do that.

"There was an improvement in the second half, the manager got a reaction out of us but we needed to score when we had that good spell.

"When they scored from the corner all the hard work we did trying to get back in the game went to nothing.

"Teams will come here and get beaten and they're on a great run themselves and you have to admire their quality.

"This is such a great place to come and play football but you have to compete when you come here, and forget about the name of Liverpool Football Club."
