International Round-up

It was a big night for Gary Teale in particular, completing his upturn in form by winning his first, hopefully of many, caps for Scotland. The speedy winger came on as substitute in the 50th minute for Rangers barry Ferguson. Despite looking nervous, Tealey made a major impact just five minutes into his debut, a long pass up field latched onto by Kenny Miller who clinically finished. Teale almost scored himself, deflecting a Kenny Miller cross just wide of the post with his chest late on.

Wigan's other Scottish Internatinal Lee Mchulloch was an unused sub.

Graham Kavanagh was also used as a second half subsitute, coming on for Sunderland's Stephen Elliot in the 48th minute.

Elsewere, Paul Scharner played from the start for Austria, being used in his preferred position of centre backm, and Henri Camara palyed for an injury plagued Senegal who still ran out 2-1 winners over Norway, however he failed to continue his good scoring form for the Teranga Lions.
