Baines: Newcaslte offer £6 million
Of the game, Hutchings told the Wigan Evening Post: "This game will be another good test for us, a chance for the players to build up their fitness further.

"We've tried different things during pre-season, looking at various options, but sooner or later you have a team which you want to play."

It is expected that Julius Aghahowa will partner Emile Heskey up front after both Camara and Sibierski suffer injuries, whilst Michael Brown is expected to start in the middle of the park.

The match will cost travelling supporters £10 and £5 for concessions. It is a cash only game with Leeds unable to process credit cards at the moment.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are being linked with a £6 million bid for full-back Leighton Baines. This offer comes hot on the heels of Everton's improved £5.5 million offer.

Also announced today was the rejection of Sheffield United's £1.5 million offer for Kevin Kilbane. Chris Hutchings considers the Republic of Ireland midfielder to be integral in his plans for the future.
