Yet despite the injuries, Hutch refuses to use that as an excuse for his teams poor form.
"We have got a few injuries, but we can't bleat about that," Hutchings told Sky Sports News. "It is the same for every club.
"We learn a lot about the players who are going in and doing the job at the minute.
"The strength of the squad is being stretched to the limit at the moment."
With an away game to Birmingham preceeding difficult matches against Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal it is important the Latics take full points from Steve Bruce's team.
