Huddersfield let six go

Sharp has been released after a relatively short stay with the Terriers. He left Wigan after his contract ran out and was not renewed.

He will be joined by Eddie Youds, Kenny Irons, Gareth Evans and the long-serving duo of Simon Baldry and Thomas Heary.

Youngsters Ben Austin and Chris Brown have also been told they will not be getting new contracts.
