Despite stating at the fans forum before Christmas that he would only sell Heskey for upwards of £10 million, Steve Bruce may be tempted by £3.5 million.

Given the expected arrivals of Hugo Rodallega from Necaxa and Mido from Middlesbrough, the Latics forward line would not be too slim.
It is also thought that Bruce may be changing his mind over striker Henri Camara. The Senegalese forward has won over the heart of the Latics manager with his tally of goals this season.
The 31 year old is also out of contract in the summer and would have to take a wage cut should his present deal be renewed for another year.
