to have collapsed after Helguson was not interested in dropping down to the Championship.

With their chase for Kamara seemingly dead, Fulham manager Laurie Sanchez has switched attention to the Wigan striker.

Wigan are reportedly interested in Fulham skipper Michael Brown, with the midfielder rumoured to have held talks with the Latics over the weekend about a possible move.

It could be that any move for Camara could depend on whether Fulham, and Brown, decide to accept Wigans offer.

Camara, now 30, signed a new contract last summer after signing from Wolves for £3,100,000 two years ago. He was limited to just 23 appearances last season, scoring just six goals.

With Hutch on the lookout for another striker, West Hams Marlon Harewood a target, he could allow Camara to leave, especially if it nets him £900,000 profit on his original investment.
