From the Terraces to the Taproom: Next Friday 16th April

A live event where the spirit of football fanzines is brought to life in a celebration of the beautiful game locally, nationally and globally and brought to you by the people behind Wigan Athletic’s fanzine The Mudhutter.

On Friday 16th April at the Bellingham Hotel
7.30pm – 11.30pm

With music, comedy, sketches, visuals, poetry, readings from forthcoming books and Q&A’s with special guests including former Latics players it promises be another entertainment filled and memorable evening.

In a year when football truly demonstrates what a global game it is, and as the greatest football competition in the world awaits us this summer, we take an offbeat look at World Cup’s past and present.

There will also be lyrical waxing on matters closer to home in a celebration of Wigan Athletic’s history past and present. The Mudhutter takes you on a journey back to the terraces of a non league Springfield Park and brings you right up to date with a look at football in the 21st century.

Tickets purchased in advance are priced at just £3 which includes half time pie, a copy of the latest issue of the fanzine and a programme (£4 on the night if any tickets remain).
