Forster happy to wait

"It's difficult, there are offers open to me but nothing really jumping out," Forster told Reading's official website.

"If I am to move it has to be by Thursday's transfer deadline but if I don't move I won't be devastated. I like it here and will do my best to win a new contract."

While his manager Steve Coppell suggested there may be other reasons why Forster seems reluctant to move. Many believe the real reason he is not moving are loyalty payments for seeing out his contract.

Coppell said: "There is a lot going on under the surface and, as always, I don't really want to discuss specifics so we'll have to wait and see.

"I would rather not talk about any possible transfer. There is speculation and activity behind the scenes.

"There could be things happening in the next couple of days so it's terrific of him to come and be part of things
