The youthful striker's return to Wigan forward line is very welcome for manager Roberto Martinez who has highlighted the return of his injured players as key for the club this month.
Di Santo himself is ready for the test against Arsenal at the weekend. Speaking to the press, the Argentinian said: "It is a normal game. Maybe they are a big team for everyone but for us it is another team to try to beat.
"I am happy to be back as I feel rested. It was a frustrating time as you always want to play. Now I can help the team and use my energy in the next game. I am a striker so I have to score. Sometimes it is possible, sometimes not but I will always try."
