Speaking to the Wigan Observer, he said: "It will be difficult to repeat what happened last year, but that is the ambition of the club."

Landzaat scored 22 goals in 79 games for Alkmaar, a trait he hopes to continue at the JJB Stadium: "I like to attack and get forward to score goals. I also like to control midfield and that's what i'll be trying to do."
