Wigan Athletic yesterday announced the signings of Andy Kellett, Jack Hendry and Haris Vuckic.

The 21-year old Kellett, who had a surprise loan spell at Manchester United, has signed from local rivals Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

He becomes to fifth ex-Bolton player to join the Latics this summer, after the left-back agreed a three-year contract at the DW Stadium.

Gary Caldwell also captured another defender on Deadline Day, as centre-half Jack Hendry signed on a four-year deal from Scottish Premier League side Partick Thistle. Again the fee was undisclosed.

At the other end of the pitch, Wigan secured the services of Newcastle United's attacking midfielder Haris Vuckic. The 23-year old joins on loan until the end of the season.

In addition to this, Caldwell has extended Sean Murray's loan deal from Watford. The central midfielder was originally due to stay for one month, but will now continue to play for Wigan until January 16th.
