The fixture is scheduled to take place at the JJB Stadium on the 23rd of December at 17.15 and after last season's opening fire cracker it will surely be worth attending.

The game is a catagory A fixture and should have cost a full payign adult £35 for their ticket, but the club have listened to concerns voiced by supporters and dropped the prices.

This started with a £5 reduction for the home game with Liverpool, and now this fantastic offer for the Chelsea ficture two days before Christmas.

Chief Executive Brenda Spencer said: "With the game being just two days before Christmas it is the perfect opportunity to wish the people of Wigan a Merry Christmas. £15 is a knock out offer that will hopefully pack the Stadium for a match being broadcast around the world on television.

"This season we are trying a variety of methods to make Wigan Athletic an accessible club for people to come and enjoy the match day experience live. Our 'Quid a Kid' scheme was a roaring success against Charlton, getting thousands of juniors into the Stadium to enjoy the match and the great atmosphere that comes with it.

"Season ticket holders make a tremendous commitment to the club and we value their support immensely. I'm also aware that our season ticket holders care passionately about the future of our club and support the efforts being made to attract new fans. It is encouraging to have that backing as we look for new ways to grow the club on and off them pitch.

"
Buying a season ticket led to massive savings at the beginning of the campaign and even with the offers we have produced the saving is still considerable. However, I can personally assure every Wigan Athletic season ticket holder that we will offer a loyalty bonus to them in the near future."

The offer is good news for Latics supporters and will surely allow many more fans to enjoy top class Premiership football in Wigan over the festive period.
