Cattermole out for eight weeks

The combative midfield player was unlucky to be sent off against the Hammers but must curb his tackling if he is to clock up the minutes on the pitch.

Wigan will now suffer without the influence of Cattermole who has been showing real potential with his form so far this season.

Cattermole will sit out the games with Sunderland, Hull City, Everton and Arsenal before his return at Ewood Park on April 26th.
