Cattermole gets four game ban

The straight red card earned for his tackle on Scott Parker in the second half of the game will see Cattermole serve a three match ban, plus one extra game as it is his second red card of the season.

The ban will mean Cattermole will miss the games against Sunderland, Hull City, Everton and Arsenal.

Hopefully Cattermole will learn to add an extra dimension to his game. If he learns to keep his head and let his football do the talking, he will be a much better player for it.

There is certainly a time to go in hard and rattle the oppostion players, but in a fiery cauldren such was the game against West Ham, it is a one way ticket to an early bath and a lengthly spell on the sidelines.
