Emyr Huws, Adam Forshaw, Andy Delort, and William Kvist all completed moves to the club as Rosler built his armoury to make the assault on this season's Championship.

Manchester City youth Huws was already on loan with the Latics but upon learning of his permanent available Rosler moved quickly to seal a full time switch for a fee in the region of £3 million.

The 20 year old Wales international could well flourish at the DW Stadium and Rosler said of the addition: "Everybody can see what a very talented player Emyr is, and from the first training session with us leading through to the games he has played, he has been very good.

"At just 20 years old he is already with the full Welsh national team and the chance to sign him on a long-term contract was too good an opportunity to turn down."

In the most protracted move, Adam Forshaw completed his switch from Brentford for a fee believed to be £3.5 million with potential add ons taking it to £5 million.

Forshaw was Rosler's number one target to replace Jordi Gomez after the Spaniard's departure over the summer.

Rosler told the club's official website: "Of course he is a player I know well, I initially loaned him during my time at Brentford and he gained his first regular league football experience there under me.

"We bought him permanently and now I am very happy to sign, for a second time, a player who developed into the best player in League One last season."

French striker Andy Delort has joined from Ligue 2 team FC Tours and adds further support to Oriol Reira in the goal scoring department.

"Andy is such an exciting player," said Rosler. "He lives to score. We have managed to bring in a proven goalscorer at the right age for under £3m and that is a testament to our club but especially to the player, his family and his agent.

"Despite huge pressure from outside during these last few days, he has never wavered in his desire to join us."

And finally was the addition of Denmark international midfielder William Kvist on a free transfer from VFB Stuttgart.

"William is a top international midfielder in the prime of his career and we are absolutely delighted to be able to sign him," said Rosler.

The midfielder played a number of games in the Premier League on loan to Fulham and will add strength in the middle of the park.

Departing the club was James McArthur who joined Crystal Palace for a fee of £7 million. The Scotland international will be missed by the club and his departure is a blow. However McArthur was an exemplary professional during his time with the Latics and supporters will now doubt wish him the best with his new club.

The new look Latics team now have an international weekend to bond together before the trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn on Saturday week.
