Bruce insists the forward will not be leaving in the January transfer window unless the club receives a mind blowing offer.
He said: "I keep hearing two or three million quid but he won't be going for that,' the manager said of his leading striker, who looks likely to run down the remaining six months of his contract.
"Now, if it's eight or 10 [million] then I might have a decision to make because I could get a player in but at two to three million, I couldn't buy a player from the Championship."
