Twenty-three year old Hendry Thomas is currently in talks with Latics general manager John Benson over a move to the JJB Stadium.

Thomas has been capped by Honduras 13 times to date and is known to be a defensive midfielder. Currently plying his trade with Olimpia, from where Palacios and Figueroa played, Thomas is hopeful of a move to Europe after an unsuccessful trial with French club Toulouse last month.

He made his debut for Olimpia at just 16 years of age and is the cousin of striker David Suazo who currently plays for Inter Milan.
