Breckin joins Forest

Ian Breckin
He has signed a three year contract and can't wait to play for Forest as they push for promotion back to the Championship.

Breckin told the Forest official site: "I know I am dropping down but I don't think Forest will be in League One for very long.

"The size of the Club and the quality of the manager and the playing staff means that I would hope we will be in the forefront of next season's promotion issue.

"Once I heard that Forest were interested I was desperately keen to come and no one really had to sell the idea to me.

"Yes, last season must have been a huge disappointment for everyone connected with Forest but I'm sure we will be heading back in the right direction from now onwards.

"I just can't wait to get playing here but I realise there is a lot of hard work ahead of me in pre-season before we start looking at the first game.

"It should not be too difficult to settle in. In addition to Nicky Eaden, of course, there are a lot of Forest lads that I know well so there should be no problems in getting used to the new surroundings very quickly."

Good luck to Breckinbauer for the future, and promotion from everyone at Wiganer.net. I'll have to get to designing a new site header now!!
