Many Bolton fans have failed to warm to the fact that Gary Megson is their manager and will not be happy until they see the former West Brom manager removed. The fact is though, Megson took over a side which looked as though they were heading into the Championship and made them a team which was hard to beat. After surviving last season, Bolton have not really been involved in the relegation battle but are still in the mix, mainly due to the fact that so many teams are still involved, However they are more than likely going to be in the Premier League next season.
Everyone knows about Bolton, Strong and direct. They will offer a stern test against a side which has suffered three straight defeats and if Wigan want a turn in fortune, they need to start taking chances instead of wasting so many opportunities. At Ewood Park on Sunday, Latics had double the amount of shots than Blackburn and Paul Robinson was named man of the match. This shows that on another day, Wigan could very easily of won but everyone has days like that in football. A win on Saturday would be one step to rectifying this proble.
