He was interviewed live on stage by Wish FM presenter Andy Lawson before meeting fans, signing autographs and having photos taken with supporters.
Roberto said: “It’s really important for the club to be involved in events like this, we are a family club, whose heart lies within the Wigan people.
“Our fans are the club’s lifeblood so it was a real pleasure to come and meet everyone.
“Christmas is a special time for families so I hope we can give everyone what they want over Christmas, lots of points!"
