Aghahowa: Happy with Wigan
... in January 2007 for an undisclosed fee.

He told the official site of he is happy with his personal progress so far this season and that it is not always about starting games and that it's about the overall contribution you give to the team.

"First of all you have to enjoy the game and I'm happy with it and getting along."

"If you are not starting games, it doesn't mean you are not part of the team or you are not doing well, but if the opportunity comes then you try to get in and do your best for the team,"
commented Aghahowa.

Speaking about the Fulham game, where he made an appearance after coming on from the bench, the striker commented on how taking points from these sorts of games are vital.

"We created more chances in the second half and we were really pushing them back, we had the opportunity but we have to move on. This kind of game is very important because we have to get points from our home games because when the games become tougher it will become more difficult so we have to try and get points from such teams."

Aghahowa now could be a starter for the next few games due to the metatarsal injury that England international Emile Heskey picked up in the 1-1 draw with Fulham on Saturday.

Wigan Athletic next take on Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday where Aghahowa could play a key role before a home game against title contenders, Liverpool.
