African duo seal Turkish move

Neither player has managed to settle with the Latics and manager Steve Bruce has chosen to offload the pair as he shapes the squad to his own style.

Bruce said: "It's in place for Olembe and Aghahowa to move on to Turkey. Olembe is on a free and there's a small fee for Aghahowa. It hasn't happened for them here."

Meantime former Everton defender Dave Watson has joined the club as Youth Team coach. He replaces David Lowe who has left to join Paul Jewell at Derby County.
