Wigan v Stoke 

·      Wigan will be a team brimming with confidence this week after a 2-1 away at Liverpool

·      A Shaun Maloney penalty and a Gary Caldwell goal secured a vital three points for the Latics

·      Maloney has had limited opportunities this season, playing just 279 minutes but contributing a goal and an assist to Wigan’s survival cause

·      Caldwell, however, has been on of the league’s more prolific full backs, scoring three times this season, despite having had just seven shots at goal

·      Wigan have covered a total of 1862 miles this season according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.

·      Maynor Figueroa remains Wigan’s marathon man, he’s completed an impress 162 miles so far this season to lead the Wigan squad for distance covered and put him 15th in the overall ranking for distance covered.

·      Stoke bagged themselves a point against title contenders Manchester City last weekend.

·      Crouch’s spectacular volley will certainly be a highlight for Stoke fans this and is being widely tipped as the goal of the season so far.

·      Crouch has scored eight goals so far this season and also contributed four assists. Crouch has had 44 shots at goal this season with 52% on target.

·      Stoke’s Jonathan Walters has been in impressive form this season, he currently lies sixth in the table for the most individual distance covered with 174.28 miles covered.

·      Walters has had 18 shots on goal and has converted five of them into goals, which according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index gives him a hit rate of 27%
