Both Maloney and McArthur were forced to leave the field against Chelsea after suffering a back injury and dead leg respectively.

Beausejour meanwhile sat out the game with his injury which Martinez has described as a soft tissue injury.

All three players are expected to be fit in time for the game with Martinez likely to drop new centre back Ivan Ramis should Beausejour be able to start the game.

It would also appear that Victor Moses has played his last game in a Wigan Athletic shirt after the club accepted a £9 million offer from Chelsea for the winger.

Either Jordi Gomez or Ryo Myaichi are expected to take the place of Moses who is expected to complete his move later this weekend.

Southampton meanwhile have largely a fully fit squad to choose from with only 23 year old Jack Cork as doubtful. Cork, who represented Great Britain at the Olympics, suffered an ankle injury in pre-season and is expected to miss the game.
