Preview: Camara's click to sting Hornets?

Fully refreshed and ready to lead Wigan to safety. That is what is hoped from the returning Henri Camara. Whether he starts, or takes his place on the

bench, the sheer presence of the Senegalese striker will boost morale on the pitch, and in the stands.

Although an unfair claim, Wigan have won just one game in ten Premiership games whilst Camara has been sidelined. Whether Camara's absence was the major reason, he has deffinately been missed.

Julius Agahowa has filled the void, and with Caleb Folan returning after missing out the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal (no comment), Jewell now has real options up front, but has a Watford team on the rise to use them against.

Victories in the FA Cup have boosted morale in the Hornets camp, with victories over West Ham and Blackburn in the League have given them a slim, but realistic, chance of survival.

Although boosted sttacking options have been a help, Jewell believes Skoko and Landzaat finally clicking in midfield has proven a welcome boost: " I have to say the two midfield players, Landzaat and Skoko have been excellent of late.

Dutch courage: Denny Landzaat
"Since Skoks has been back in the team, he has been excellent. He gets about his job quietly, but he is certainly a good player."

Jewell also had glowing praise for Landzaat, after the dutch international consolidated his improvement with a superb goal last weekend:"the signs against Reading, Portsmouth and Arsenal were encouraging and it seems he has grasped the nettle.

"Denny scored a great goal at Arsenal and hopefully that will give him plenty of confidence for the rest of the season."

Emergency loanee Carlo Nash could start the game, although Aussie John Filan is expected to get the nod.

With Paul Scharner still two to three weeks away, the pressure will continue for Landzaat and Skoko.

With strikers returning and a new added belief, Wednesday could be the day Wigan make massive strides in their efforts to stay in the Premiership.

Ones to Watch

The loss of Ashley Young hasn't stopped Watford's enthusiasm. Although no-one poses a major threat, their hard work is the one to watch.

My Prediction

Although i can't stop thinking this game will end in a draw, i am hoping Camara's return will inspire the Latics to a massive victory.
