Alan Mahon
It seems likely that Paul Jewell will stick with the same starting eleven that beat Cardiff at Ninian Park.

Baines, McCulloch and Teale may all sit this game out after recovering from slight knocks.

All three were rested for the game with Cardiff.

Jewell may be tempted to drop top socrer Nathan Ellington in favour of Alan Mahon on the left flank however.

Mahon scored the Latics second goal at the weekend and that will have done him no harm as he bids to re-gain his first team spot.

With no fresh injuries or suspensions going into the final four games, the Latics couldn't be in a better position.

Wigan (Probable): Filan, Eaden, McMillan, Breckin, Jackson, Bullard, Jarrett, Kavanagh, Mahon, Ormerod, Roberts.

Jewell told the club's official website this week that it is the team that is the most important thing. He commented that all his players are pulling in one direction in the final push for the Premiership.

Jewell said: "The team must always come before individuals, but at this moment in time, it must come first, second, third and fourth. No player likes to miss out or play in a different position, but now is not the time for any personal gripes, these lads are a good honest bunch though, and they know that the team is the most important thing.

"I'm asking them all the time for more and more and I want them to get over that finishing line because they deserve it for all the hard work they've put in and they continue to put in. The lads have done extremely well for this Football Club and we've come a long way in a short space of time."

When asked about the prospect of playing Leicester, who managed a 0-0 draw at the JJB earlier in the season, the Latics boss said: , "Leicester are going to be strong, they are building for next year and will be a force to be reckoned with next season. They are a difficult side to beat and we know it will be tough down there."

Meanwhile the Latics fans will be numbered at 1,300 a tremendous effort from the Latics' faithful.

Leicester Team News

The Foxes will be missing only Stephen Hughes through suspension after he got himself sent off against Brighton in their last outing.

Danger man David Connolly will most likely start up front alongside power house Mark de Vries with Dion Dublin joining Nikos Dabizas at centre back.

Connolly netted Leicester's goal in a 1-1 draw with Brighton last weekend.

Leicester (Probable): Walker, Dabizas, McCarthey, Maybury, Williams, Gudjohnsson, Tiatto, Nalis, Connolly, Dublin, De Vries.

Former Latic Keith Gillespie will be involved in the game and thinks that player for player, the Foxes have a better side!

He said: "They have done really well and been up there from the off. They have shown they have what it takes. Perhaps, player for player, we might be seen as a better side but they have been more consistent."

Keith Gillespie
"It will be a difficult game, but we played well there earlier in the season for a 0-0 draw, and we hope to go one better."

"We were many people's tips to go back up, and it hasn't worked out like that. It can take a season to get adjusted to this division and, hopefully, we can give it a go next time."

"Our last few home games have been encouraging, and we have six games left, four at home. We will be looking to win all six - certainly the home games - and that would be a nice end to the season."

Whilst defender, Darren Kenton, on loan at Leicester from Southampton until the end of the season, said: "It's between Sunderland, Ipswich and Wigan at the top of the table now and they're are all quality sides.

"Wigan will certainly come to The Walkers looking for the three points, but I feel we've got enough to beat them on Saturday.

"We want to make sure we don't get dragged into the relegation fight so we'll be looking for all three points. It has the makings of a good game because I'm sure they'll also be looking for the win."
