Blackburn will be looking to take as many point as they can off a Wigan side who have won four of their previous six. Blackburn on the other hand have won only one of their previous six fixtures.

 

Ayegenbi Yakubu is Blackburn’s highest ranked player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.

 

The 29th year-old Nigerian has scored 16 goals this season, which puts him joint fourth for most goals scored this season alongside Clint Dempsey and Demba Ba.

 

Gael Givet has made 20 appearances for Blackburn this season but has been ruthless in defence all season. According to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index Givet has won 87.8% of all tackles he attempted this season.

 

Gary Caldwell is the highest ranked Wigan player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index he’s currently 34th in the overall standings. 

 

The 30-year-old Scot has been a solid defender for Wigan all season. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows us Caldwell has won 72.3% of all the tackles he’s attempted this season.

 

Although being a more defensively minded player, Caldwell has picked up three goals this season from just four shots. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows us 75% of his shots on target, result in goals.

 

Victor Moses picked up two goals in Wigan’s 4-0 whitewash of Newcastle, last weekend. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows us Moses has had 83 shots this season and 62% of those have been on target.

 

Moses’s conversion rate of shots on target to goals, according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index is 11.5% he’s had 52 shots on targets and picked up just six goals.

 

Franco Di Santo scored his sixth goal of the season against Newcastle, the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index tells us 64.9% of Di Santo’s shots this season have been on target.
