Keep the Faith!

.....and when the club doing worse than you is a 'massive' (in inverted commas fro a reason) club, who has recently signed two of the so-called best players in the world, then we're really not doing as bas as we thought!

I won't lie, watching West Ham lose miserably in nearly every game Tevez and Mascherano have been involved in has raised a smile.

It has nothing to do with the fact that it's West Ham, more to do with the fact that these signings never came across as 'legit'. what with this 'big company' involved and the fact that the players have as good as admitted they're buggering off at the end of the year, it kind of makes you wonder why on earth they signed for West Ham in the first place.

Delusional West Ham fans will tell you that it's all to do with the size of the
Carlos Tevez
club and its history, whereas it is most probably due to the heavy signing on fee and wages they'll recieve during their time there. They could very well be using the Hammers as a 'stepping stone', rather like a certain Frenchman did with us; if this is the case them i actually feel sorry for them.

The thing that annoys me most about these two signings, is the fact that even thoguh it was a public display of a 'rig up' as it were, it comes nowhere near to being as dodgy as many deals being made in top flight English football these days.

What with these eight unconfirmed teams involved in the whole bung saga, it makes you wonder what our beautiful game will turn into within the next twenty years or so, scary to think.

In Serie A in Italy, clubs were docked points and even relefated for match-fixing. Personally, i believe that signing players the way some managers have donw with the use of bungs could be described as just as bad.

In some cases, the players named have changed the teams' season, which in turn has financially benefited them a great deal. It's a rather imaginitive theory in my opinion is rather relevant.

The only good thing to come out of all these deals is the fact that Wigan Athletics name hasn't even appeared. You would think that a club with a lot of money yet are failing to attract top class personnel could stoop to agent bunging, expecially when they know others around them are doing the same.
