Using the PremierLeagues fantasy league, Wiganer.net set up a private league and ask you to pay a fee of £10 (£10.27 for paypal) to join. All money made is then used for prize money come the end of the season!
Here is a simple step by step guide on how to join the Wiganer.net League:
1. Firstly, go to the following link (click here) and register for the Fantasy Premier League! If you are having problems with the link, go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/
2. After registering, you will be asked to created your teams strip and name. Please use your messageboard username (eg: liam_wafc, avantsweater). If you don't have one, register one here.
3. Next, choose your team!
4. Next is payment time. There are two ways of doing so:
- Pay £10.00 by cheque via post. For information who to mail it to, contact liam_wafc@msn.com
- Pay £10.27 via paypal. The extra 00.27p is for administrative fees. Make paypal payments payable to the above e-mail (liam_wafc@msn.com).
5. When you have made payment, you will be contacted and given the private code needed to join the Wiganer.net league. When you have recieved the codes, go to the leagues option in your fantasy PremierLeague and insert the code where it says private league.
Remember, use your messageboard userame!
Entry is not just limited to Wigan Athletic fans either! If you are a messageboard user from another team, you can still join in.
Closing date for entry is Thursday 9th August, two days before the big kick off.
