"We always have people who want to take responsibility and that's great from my point of view. I certainly thought the Koumas incident [in the first half] was a penalty, although I've yet to see the video of it, but on another day we could have had three or four goals.

"We have seven new players which we thought would improve the squad from last year, and that is a very good start. But I want the players to share my ambition, the chairman's ambition and the clubs ambition in taking this football club forward and the players have shown that.
"I think we have tried to pass the ball a bit better more than we have done in the past, but that is due to the type of players we have brought in, they are a little more comfier on the ball and that is no disrespect to the players who we have had before. If you get quality players they can deal with things, and you expect them to produce, and they've done that this week.
"There is a very long way to go. It's good to be there but you don't win anything after three games. We've had two very good performances so let's give the players credit and we worry about the league positions at the end of the season."
