Speaking after the game Mowbray said: "On the balance of the game we're very disappointed It looks on paper a difficult fixture and yet we came and did what we'll do all year, try to take the sting out of them and then play ourselves.
"There are plenty of positives and I've got to mention the fantastic following who came. I'm sure they saw enough to think we'll have a decent season.
"We have to keep going. If we can get the points against Sheffield Wednesday on last game before the international break then our points tally will be okay."
