"The performance was very good but the result was a bad one and we're disappointed. I felt we deserved something from the game and without doubt, that was as much as we have pushed one of the big teams.

"We passed the ball really well in the second half, created chances, and I expected the one at the end from Aghahowa to end up in the back of the net. Things have just not gone for us but I don't look on this run against the big four as a curse.

"We just have to remain positive and now we look forward to going to Manchester United at the weekend. These are the matches we want to play - we want to try to perform well against them.

"One day I'm sure we will get the rub of the green. I think decisions went against us with the penalty we could have had, and the goal which was ruled out.

"The game has finished now and we can't change anything, but major decisions have to go right. I just hope the referee looks at those decisions and learns from them. We are learning all the time as a club, and it is important officials do too."

"It's always important to win away and Yossi changed the game for us. He gave us creativity, quality and of course a goal. We had some chances in the match but didn't always take them.

"We are happy because we're near the top of the table with a game in hand. It's much better than last season.

"Wigan might feel they deserved to get something from the game but we had the better chances for 80 minutes."
