Jewell's Reaction to the 3-0 win

"I thought we were average in the first half, there was no atmosphere and there was no urgency to our play but we scored the goal at a fantastic time and that gave us a lift and obviously deflated them. We came on in the second half and played some good football, created lots of chances, which was good after a disappointing first half. It's supposed the sign of a good team that wins after a poor performance, but it doesn't feel that way on the touchline that if you don't play well you win games."

"The first half was certainly flat and the game needed a goal, and luckily enough, we got it!"

"To be fair to the other team, we kept the ball very, very well. They sat deep and wanted to frustrate us so we had to be patient and we had to sue our possession better than we did in the first half. Nathan has that ability in the locker, he can do outrageous things, so we were pleased with the first goal, and his second was a fabulous goal. I was pleased to see Per get off the mark as well."

"They came to frustrate us and sat very, very deep defensively and to a certain extent it worked. The Duke scored a goal out of nothing, it wasn't even a chance really although it was a good ball from Jason. We came in at half time with our chins up rather than hitting the floor."

"It was a good finish but their 'keeper made three or four good saves in the second half, but I would have also like to have seen the Duke get his hat-trick, seen Jason Roberts scored and also see David Graham score too."
