Jewell's Everton Reacton

Jewell said: "It was a game of very few chances - but as I keep saying, we are making daft decisions and getting punished. I'm happy with the commitment - but the quality's not good, we're making rash challenges and bad errors.

"I don't want to hear apologies from my players every week. We've got a game in hand on the teams below us but we need to be men and take responsibility on the ball.

"I've been concerned for a while about relegation - we are in a fight, make no mistake about it and we are going to find out a lot about ourselves in the next 15 games.

"Camara is making good progress but it'll probably be two weeks at best until he gets match fitness. I'm trying to bring in players as well - but it's not easy."
