Jewell on Coventry

"I've got to say that in the first half Coventry were very good, they were better than us in all departments and I was pleased just to go in at 1-1 at half-time. In the second half the players reacted very well, but I think Coventry deserve credit for their first half because they took the game to us and looked the more likely side. At least we dug in there until half time and in the second half we played some good stuff.

"Ellington had a chance in the first half, but other than that I cannot remember us working their 'keeper very much at all. The final pass was wrong, we ran when we should have passed it and vice versa and we looked a bit anxious. So I was pleased to go in level at half-time and try and sort one or two things out.
"People say nice things about us be we cannot win every game, and we cannot play well every game, and even though we are still unbeaten, there is more than one way to skin a cat and if we have to scrap to win a football game then so be it. We won't score four goals every game, there will be times when we have to roll our sleeves up and hang onto a one-nil lead. If you are going to be a top Championship team, you have to have more than one way to win a football match.

"It was probably David Graham's worst hour for us, which is ironic because he's been really unfortunate in recent games with not scoring any goals. I was pleased for him and hopefully that will be the first of many."
